Privacy Policy
In short
- Your training history stays on your iPhone. There is no account and no sign-in.
- No ads and no tracking. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details.
- If you email us, we use what you send only to answer you and fix what you report.
1Who is responsible
PokerEV is made by Igor Mikheev, an individual developer (“we”, “us”). He is responsible for any personal data described in this policy. You can reach him at support@pokerev.pro.
2What we don’t collect
PokerEV does not ask for, and we do not receive:
- your name, email address or phone number (unless you email us yourself, see section 6);
- your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or health data;
- your Apple Account details or payment card;
- the hands you play, the answers you give or your practice stack (a report you choose to send includes the one spot it is about, see section 6);
- your device’s advertising identifier. PokerEV does not ask to track you and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
3What stays on your iPhone
To work, the app keeps the following in its own storage on your iPhone:
- your training history: the spots you have seen, your answers and how they were graded, and when each spot is due again;
- your practice stack in big blinds, rebuys, streak, blind-check and table results, and weekly reports;
- your settings, such as daily plan size, reminder time, card colours and training format;
- the date your free week of Pro started, and whether Apple has confirmed a Pro subscription;
- a short note used only to decide when to ask you to rate the app: when it last asked and in which version, the days you finished your daily plan or passed a blind check, and when a purchase last failed, so that it asks rarely and never right after a problem;
- a small technical log of app events (for example “portion completed”), limited to 64 KB, that stays on the device.
None of this is uploaded to us or to anyone else, and the app has no cloud sync. It is included in your iPhone’s own backups (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer) if you use them; those backups are Apple’s and stay under your control. Deleting PokerEV deletes all of this data, and we have no copy to restore it from.
4Analytics and internet use
This version of PokerEV sends no analytics or crash reports of its own and contains no advertising or analytics software from anyone. The app talks only to Apple, through Apple’s own App Store frameworks: to show Pro prices, to check, buy or restore your subscription, to redeem a code, and to let you rate the app (section 5). A report you send goes through your own mail app (section 6), and a link you tap, such as the one to this page, opens in Safari. Everything else works offline.
Planned
We may add anonymous, privacy-first usage statistics in a future version, to learn which parts of the app help people train. If we do, this section will say exactly what is sent and to whom, and the date at the top will change, before that version is released.
5Purchases
PokerEV Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account; we never see your name, email address, Apple Account or payment details. The app receives from Apple only the prices and offers shown on the Pro screen (including whether an introductory price still applies to you) and a signed confirmation of which plan is active and until when. It uses these on your iPhone to show the Pro screen and switch Pro on, and does not send them anywhere.
The free week of Pro that new players get is not an App Store subscription. It starts on your iPhone, needs no payment details, and nothing is charged when it ends.
Apple gives developers sales reports and, from people who have chosen to share analytics with app developers in their iPhone settings, aggregated usage statistics and crash reports. These do not identify you to us. Apple’s handling of your data is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
6Emails and “Report an issue”
You can write to support@pokerev.pro at any time. The app also has a “Report an issue” link, in Settings › Help and under the explanation on an answer’s review. It sends nothing by itself: it opens an email draft addressed to us, which you can read, change or discard. It is sent only if you press Send, from your own email account.
The draft contains:
- when opened from a review: the chart’s ID, source tag and version, the position, stack size and table format, your hand, the actions before yours, the answer you chose and the app’s verdict;
- always: the app version and build, the iOS version and the iPhone model code (such as “iPhone15,2”).
It never contains your training history, your practice stack, your device’s name or any identifier of you, your device or this installation.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email account shows it, and whatever you write or attach. We use it only to reply, to fix what you reported, and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to any mailing list and do not share your emails with anyone other than the services that route and store our email, which are bound to protect them at least as well as this policy does. Where the GDPR or similar law applies, we do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you, or to provide the subscription you bought when your question is about it.
We delete support emails no later than 12 months after the conversation ends, or sooner if you ask.
7Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder and allow notifications, PokerEV schedules the reminder on your iPhone for the time you choose. These are local notifications: the app creates them on the device, there is no push server, and nothing is sent. You can turn them off in PokerEV (Settings › Daily reminder) or in the iPhone’s Settings › Notifications › PokerEV.
8This website
pokerev.pro is a simple static site. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics, fonts or scripts from other companies. Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to serve the pages and protect them against abuse. The provider does this on our behalf and is bound to protect that data at least as well as this policy does. We do not receive or keep it, and we do not use it to identify you.
9Children
PokerEV is a study tool for adult poker players and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has emailed us, tell us and we will delete the message.
10Your choices and rights
- Delete PokerEV to delete everything it stored on your iPhone.
- Turn the daily reminder off at any time, in the app or in the iPhone’s Settings.
- Ask us which of your emails we hold, or ask us to correct or delete them, at support@pokerev.pro. We answer within one month.
- Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK or California, you may also have the right to restrict or object to how we use your data, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
- We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
11Changes to this policy
If what the app or this website does with data changes, for example if a future version adds analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches you, and update the app’s privacy details on the App Store to match.
